Philadelphia, PA - The Philadelphia Fight Rugby League is hosting the 2010 AMNRL Grand Final XII on Saturday at the A.A. Garthwaite Stadium in Conshohocken.
The Jacksonville Axemen will be facing the New Haven Warriors. During semi-finals, the Warriors hosted the defending champion New York Knights and sent them packing after a 42 to 18 defeat. In the other semi-final, the Axemen defeated the Aston Bulls 46 to 4.
The event will be highlighted by an appearance by legendary Philadelphia Phillies Hall of Famer Mike Schmidt. Schmidt will meet with fans, hang out at the VIP tent and enjoy his first AMNRL match.
The Vixens Dance Team will be performing with a special half-time appearance by the Junior Vixens.
Kick-off is at 3 p.m. and gates open at noon.
