Pennington, NJ - CaRu Entertainment will be hosting a second open call audition for dancers ages 7-17 for their 2013 CaRu Crew competitive team on August 25.

Inaugural Season Ends at Starpower Nationals

Ocean City, MD - The inaugural season of CaRu Entertainment's CaRu Crew competitive dance team ended with Starpower Nationals in Ocean City, MD. The competition closed with the performance of "Cracks" - the very first piece that the CaRu Crew performed at The Pulse On Tour in Atlantic City back in January.

The Crew secured a number of notable trophies:

Marissa Colon - 3rd Overall

Senior Small Groups

"Breakin' a Sweat" - 1st Overall

"Mamma Knows Best" - 2nd Overall

"Big Jet Plane" - 3rd Overall

Senior Duo/Trio

"Let's be Bad" - 1st Overall

Teen Small Groups

"Cracks" - 2nd Overall

Members of the Crew Perform at Pavilions in Forrestal Village

Princeton, NJ - CaRu Entertainment Dance Studio performed for the residents of Pavilions at Forrestal, an assisted living community in Princeton, yesterday.

Members of the CaRu Crew from the ages of 7 through 17 showed off some of their competitive dance pieces, providing an afternoon of fun and entertainment. Styles ranges from Jazz to Musical Theater and incorporated all the glitz and glamour of Broadway.

"At CaRu, it's not just about dance," said Cassie Russo, Executive Director. "We want to help cultivate strong, well-rounded individuals. We really want our dancers to be a part of the community while getting a chance to do what they do best - entertain."

The next stop for the CaRu Crew is Starpower Nationals in Ocean City, MD.
