East Meets West - Cassie Heads to LA

CaRu's founder and artistic director, Cassie Russo, will be flying to LA this Thursday to train for three weeks at Millennium Dance Complex. This is Cassie's second invitation to train at Millennium - the country's premiere studio for commercial dance that is often called "the place where it all happens."

She will be working with celebrity choreographers such as Shorty and Jaffar from "America's Best Dance Crew," Donyelle Jones from "So You Think You Can Dance?" and former Janet Jackson back-up dancer, Tucker Barkley. She will also be attending classes taught by Brooklyn Jai, Leslie Scott and Misha Gabriel.

Fight Vixens Appear at the Wachovia Center

On April 3, the Philadelphia Fight played at the Wachovia Center as the opening show for the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse game.

It was the first time in the U.S. that Rugby League took the turf at an indoor stadium, and the Vixens Dance Team was there to support the team.
